Sound problem (0.890)

The problem is that there's no sound at all. I've doublechecked all the options, but it's as they're not really the problem. Sounds were fine in previous versions.

This is what happens: If there's some music playing when I load up the M&B launcher, they go silent. If I close the launcher, everything's back to normal. If I launch the game, the problem continues. No sounds in-game or otherwise.

My soundcard is SB Audigy 4 Pro.

If you're running a music player or similar which is making use of the soundcard output before you load the game then it's likely to conflict with the game itself. Soundcards can't do everything at once you know

I ran the music player on the background just for the one time when I tested if it's M&B that's bugging.

Checked the soundcard drivers are up to date?

Tried disabling hardware acceleration?

Problem solved. It had something to do with the audio device. When M&B launcher is running, my computer doesn't even recognise my sound card. When I disabled the hw acceleration, everything is ok.

Check for the latest drivers. Looks like Direct X isn't recognizing the soundcard correctly.
