Sound + Movie support?

Does anyone know if there ever will be better modable Sound? I mean for new "events" or to trigger them via triggers/scripts/whatever?
The game doesnt have enough sounds...

Also what about the support for pictures and or movies ig?
You could have a command which plays them...

Like when you enter a special battle a movie will play...

I put this thing into Mod Forum, because Chen Gong advised me so!

On the suggestion forum, I mentioned multimedia support. Obviously, the game will need some movies playing. I assume that it will be ready when more important elements pertaining to gameplay are done.

I've been wanting to put cutscenes into my mod for a good while now, even if I don't know how to make them. I don't know how difficult this would be to do, since you basically need to incorporate a whole media player into the game, but it would definitely give us a whole new angle for storytelling.

we should be able to make cutscenes eventually, but i think there are still a lot of features that are more important at this point.
