Sound MOD

I couldn't find a better suited board for this question, so here it is.

Is it possible to create a sound MOD with a soundtrack that changes music when you cross into a different territory? I'd like to listen to some arabic music when I'm in the Sarranid Sultanate, some classical European music when I'm in Swadia, maybe some Celtic music when I'm in the land of Nords etc.

I'm guessing the play list just plays through whatever songs are on it with little regard to which region you're in. It only seems to change music when you enter a battle or some other action sequence.

I think the song "In a Persian Market" would be perfect for the Sarranid lands. Plus, it's not copyrighted anymore (to my knowledge). Listen to it and I bet you'll agree.

I already quite like the music that plays when you go into the Khanate lands, so I guess you'd just have to change the allocated songs to each zone of the map.
