I don´t know if such a mod already exists or not... but here a great idea...  :idea:

If you press a number, like "3" - your hear a sound "Bows are ready!"
than the "F3" - than you hear: "shoooting siiiirrrr!"

or "4" - "cavalary at your command!"
than "F3" - "we are riding for you through hell and back, siiirr!"

:grin:

whats your opinion?  :idea:

CODE....
(
  0, 0, 0, [
      (this_or_next|game_key_clicked, gk_infantry_hear),
],
  [(try_begin),
    (game_key_clicked, gk_infantry_hear),
    (play_sound, "snd_order_infantry"),

(try_end),
])

So... after all... I decided to make this mod for the community(inlcuding command-sounds)..
I decided to take the sound from "Lords of the realms 2"

If I can make this code working into native, I will upload the complete mod...
...everyone who wants to help me about make this code working, will be invited  :cool:

PROBLEM:

for everyone who want to help me/ know what I mean..... download this:

Many of the vocals are already there in ogg format. All you need to do is mod them in.

Notepad. You write it yourself. I've already donated my time and effort to the community. Now its your turn.

I already made something like this for my upcoming mod. Currently tweaking it (it's very simple to code standard keys, but there are some problems with one-key toggable commands like "fire at will/hold fire" or "mount/dismount", but I think I finally got it to work properly).

I must admit, that playing with voice commands makes a big difference. Such a small thing, such a big fun. :smile:

so I modified in "mission_templates.txt" the source-codes...

I also puted for each command a soundfile (*.ogg) into folder "SOUNDS"

but nothing happened...

PLEASE PLEASE I ABSULUTELY HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT THIS - SO PLEASE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME  :cry: :sad:

Slawomir: I just clicked on your banner and I must say your mod looks incredibly awsome from the pics! Unfortunately I can't read Polish so the pics is all I can go by. :razz:

timedanze: sorry man, wish I could help you, but I only just started looking into modifying files for M&B. :???: Good luck getting it to work though, its definetly a cool idea!

thanks... - the only thing is, I know the code, but I don´t know in which line I must invert it....

edit...
(for all to understand....)

(for example command: "INFANTRY HEAR!")

插入代码块:
(
  0, 0, 0, [
      (this_or_next|game_key_clicked, gk_infantry_hear),
],
  [(try_begin),
     (game_key_clicked, gk_infantry_hear),

 (try_end),
])

timedanze, it's great that you want to make such a mod without knowing which files to edit and failing to mod such a simple thing even after my detailed "how-to" instructions. :wink: I lost enough of my time on explainations and I can't help you any further, so sorry and good luck with implementing the code I gave you.

Well, if someone is still interested, I released a source of simplified version of my voice orders here:

OK - FACT:

I CAN´T MAKE IT WORK - SO PLEASE CLOSE/ DELETE THIS THREAD...

I tried it 1000-times! - BUT NOTHING WORKED!  :evil:

:sad:

**** happens....  :cry:

You need the help of a coder. You have the materials, the .ogg file and now all you need to do is properly refecnce this file in the source code. You'll probably need to look under simple_triggers or w/e the 'in battle' template is, reference the key stroke and your done.
