How to Reproduce: Start the game

CPU: AMD FX(tm)- 8300 Eight-Core Processor
RAM:24 GB
Motherboard: Asus m5a97
Storage Device (HDD/SSD): HDD

I know that you resolve this problem but it dont work for me .
It looks like everything is updated, last update 18.3. .
Im plenty times delete sound in game folder than verify game but it dont works.
Also one thing is very strange i change my version on 1.5.8 but it also crashed by sound bank error
than i change to 1.5.7 and game works.
Last think can i somewhere download that last hotfix because i dont play for like one week than many updates come at once .

Is this the folder you deleted? C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Sounds\PC

Jop plenty times ,also i reinstal game, still same problem
but multiplayer works

Can you try to validate the files of the game on 1.5.9? There was a hotfix that fixed this issue last week. What is the version do you see on the launcher bottom left?

Sorry for late respond after last update (23.3.) i have still same problem.

@Leco233 Have you deleted the sound folder and validated the game files after the hotfix? Asking to just to be sure.

Do you have the modding tools installed? Can you please make sure that is also validated and up to date?

I Dont have modding tools,
but if it is necessary i can install it.

I have the exact same problem and tried to follow the steps in in the "resolved" thread with no success. I'd love to see a fix

Guys I dont know what just happened but, i try to start game today morning and it works i dont start it last 2 days meanwhile i updated AMD softver and also install some kind of other softvers like new Net Framework and update for direct X 12,I dont know if it is a reason why it works now or my PC is one big glitch, but it works. still many thanks to everyone who try to help.
