Because it's a lackluster mess compared to Warband. Even tho WB is pretty simple when it comes to MP, it's quite baffling how TW can double down on that.
 
Never tried it yet even if it have crossed my mind many times as tempting :smile: Loving the SP so much atm (with a pinch of salt ofc) that it consumes me to much xD
 
Because they don't have what the MP community wants, Custom servers and class customization.

I'm not really apart of the native MP community, but I'm pretty sure if they would stop being stubborn and add these two things a lot of the community could over look the current issues with the game mode and would still play it. Doesn't seem to be TW's policy with the game though sadly.

I think its an matter of priority atm as they want to finish the sp first before they go in to mp to much before the intended release is done. But what do i know im not there working either xD But for me SP is more important to be finished right now and MP later since its still in EA but well thats up to one each since some like MP more

Yeah I agree, SP needs more resources and should get them because it's the more played game mode, but let's be real for 7 months the priority has been bug fixes and optimization, if they were pushing major content patches to SP I'd understand MP being on the back end, but that's not the case so far.

I also get that they may need to wait until near release for custom servers, but to not add class customization, the most requested MP feature and a staple of Warband's MP is just madness, since the beta people have been begging for it to be added, and that alone should've made it a priority.
 
I'm more of a singleplayer guy but the lack of custom servers and the pre-defined class system instead of the good ol' gold for gear system surely is hurting multiplayer, sometimes devs need to know when to cave in and this is even more so in multiplayer games/modes that live or die by their player base.

Never saw anyone complaining about how multiplayer worked in warband, it was simple and fun, need nothing more than that no matter how much the devs want this to be next big moba or something
 
we cant have all at once bois an gals we just have to be patient and im sure they will come up with something suiting for us all more or less. How ever i wont be the one or shouldnt be the one to say that the players who bought this game because of mp shouldnt be suited to
 
Well, first they lost all their South American players by failing to have a server out there. 150-200 ping every match and a whole subgroup of MP players was lost. Then west coasters of NA got sick of getting beat by Europeans that got better ping on NA servers than they did. After that, they made changes to the combat that lost more casual players, then on the next patch changes to ranged appeared to lose a lot of people who preferred that play style, and so on.. a few more lost with each update. Eventually the decline was already stuck in motion. Now it will take a major improvement to bring people back... might not get a chance to shine again until after EA.
 
Yeah i think they lost there chance at having a good multiplayer community, it would have to take a very large multiplayer update, plus someway of advertise that one has come out, and in many aspects i still believe that Warband singleplayer is superior especially the fact that mods for warband usally always work , and if not then it because something modder has to fix. Ive seen mods for bannerlord not work properly because of the way bannerlord has updated adding hardcodes on to certain aspect. which that might've been an issue for warband but i havent i never had any issue with it personally
 
They blew it.

I have over 250 wins and only play captain. It’s badly unbalanced, not enough maps, the game crashed regularly for the first few months. Siege was fun, but unplayable. Everyone has left and large numbers will not return.
 
Im sure your right sadly. I really dont find the single player that much more fun then, warband with some good modding, and the multiplayers on every server of bannerlord is dead. EU has 7 people searching. US has 9,its really kind of pathethic from taleworlds. i said back in april that they neede to add to the multiplayer and these degenrates said"oh sshouldnt the gmae be enough?" no people wouldnt play CSGO if they didnt have something to work too,"what about warband" they have custom servers and even more, mods that allow multiplayer such as full invasion and persistant world.Putting total focus on singleplayer (which i find many problems with too just on the decisions made) was wrong, and im willing to bet that warband will have more people playing it 3 years from now then banner;ord based of there decisions . i do hope that things do change but i doubt they will
 
I'm going to stay out of the quality debate and just say you can generally get a game by using the server browser. You'll generally have a siege game and one or two TDM servers active. If you wanted to play Captain, your mileage may vary I'm afraid.
 
There's one fundamental reason that MP is currently failing: All game-mode balances are done at the same time. A change to Siege mode is a change to TDM, Skirmish, and Captain mode all at the same time. This is a huge design flaw that prevents the game-modes from reaching their full potential and as a result of this linkage, compromise must be made when balance decisions are made so as to not change the other modes too much, which means none of the modes are in a good state.
 
Im only interested in Commander ,siege battles and i dont know the other game mode, didnt intrest me as they lack alot of the strategy aspects that i like about the game

And i dont think theres a reason to not make your opinion on the game public, i called others degenerates because there argument was the game is what it is be happy. Taleworlds wont make any changes unless people show that there unhappy with it, i found the multiplayer fun initially and stopped playing it for a few months to see how it would change. The only difference is noones playing
