I will try to keep this short 
First what I would like to see in the future is what we already have with the towns. But also villages to a certain town and its Countship to whom they belong.
What will theese do? Farming ofcourse with peasents owned by the Count/King.
This will create a natural flow to the towns that handle with farmer material.
It would also open up for some funny possibilities both "Evil" and "Good". Steeling Cattle, Take peasents, "Protection fee".
For noble missions you could collect taxes, protect, slay rebel villagers etc.
Secondly I dont really know if what ive suggested already has been but it would be nice to be able at a certain level buy a personal stock somewhere. Zendhar would be perfect since sometimes you encounter items or similaritys that you cant use yet and in greed you go and sell them just to regret not finding them again.
Thirdly sleeping at taverns like atleast I do alot would make you vulnerable to thieves. So maybe a randomness of getting some of your stock that cant be stored in your room taken? Like for instance I know if you got a big party often your stuff is protected by the lowest ranking members. You can look at this in many aspects that there should be some ordinary thieves but also peasents would be able to forthcome this. Sometimes they get caught sometimes they dont. Punishment methods would add realism to the game even more.
Possibility to try to hide. At level 10 I was once chased by a Swadian warparty me and my 2 followers where near a forest and would like the possibility to dodge big party followers in forests and mountains. This could be limited by your tracking, pathfinding, spotting skills. And have a decreasing possibility depending on your party size.
Implementing of religion. Since you got the choice of being a ex priest this is partially already in the game but adding a church allowing you to pledge to a certain religion would be nice. Protestantism, Catholism and Islam for example. Would open a new front of mission types. "Convert the barbarians", "Kill the unfaithful count" etc. As you can rankup to different stages at the Nobility you can here also become different stages eg. Crusade Knight.
I can't really see how I can suggest the thing im about to write but everyone has spoken for realism so. As a common man except if you are a very wealthy merchant or a nobleman it wouldnt be possible to command over nobility. So maybe a cap for your party to allow if they can advance to knights. Also slaying selling nobility like knights is'nt really realism but this is a fake world and everything is allowed in love and war so i'll accept it. But myself at level 16 would be able to party with Knights was a bit convenient but not really realistic since they screened as level 25.
This is all I got time to reflect over at this time need to study now but this alot more fun. I want response to my ideas both bad and good. Theres not any bad critisicm. Just other opinions so flame away!
