Something strange happened.....

Well i own Tevarin castle and it was under siege by King Yaroglek so i went to help defend it but it wouldn't let me. It just said Tevarin castle is under siege by King Yaroglek and then i have to leave

becuase it wasnt, you should of waited untill it said SEIGE above the castle

It did. There was a battle goin on with the crossed swords above it and it wouldn't let me join my own men

So you can't defend your own castle from King Yaroglek? Can you still put more soldiers in the garrison?

No because a battle was going on. I couldn't get in the castle. I'd went around all my other fiefs picking up soldiers for the defence but when i got there i couldn't do anything except wait for the battle to end and retake the castle

You could have joined the battle by clicking on the two parties with the crossed swords like in native....

I tried. It just said who was fighting and only gave me the option to leave

What's your current standing, ie. are you a rebel or do you belong to some kingdom? If you're Lord of a kingdom that isn't at war with the Vaegirs (and only you personally are on their hatelist), maybe then game prevents you from joining the battle if they started it...that's the only idea I have (never pissed off a "friendly" kingdom that much to know what happens then in this situation).

Probably just a bug, hopefully for you it won't happen again. Unless it happens again, it isn't rly worth worrying about.

I took Tevarin castle without having any allegiance. The i joined the nords. Then my Tevarin was sieged. I went to defend it but when the battle started and i tried to join it it only gave me the option to leave

That castle does not belong to your faction, therefore doesn't belong to you...i think it was lost once you became a vassal.

That castle does not belong to your faction, therefore doesn't belong to you...i think it was lost once you became a vassal.

It wasn't. It became Nord when i joined. I could still place a garrison there and buy upgrades. It's only when the siege battle began when i couldn't access it or help it
