Somehow started Polish and Russian story quests at the same time.

So I got the Deluge quest and stopped playing for a while. Then loaded up, having forgotten what I was up to, and went on a wander in Russian turf where I ran into Clermont who gave me an introduction to Prince Humperdink after I completed the village quests. Fine fine, so I hunt down the Prince, who asks me to burn some Polish villages, something I never turn down.

After I burned a few villages, I happened to wander into a town in Poland and talk to Colonel Zalblahblah, who immediately decided to join me. Meanwhile, Prince Humperdink the Ruskie thanked me for my burnination and told me to hunt up Clermont for further work.

As I understand it, I am now active on both quest lines. Is this an accurate understanding?

Well then, I suppose I'll have to crush/save the Poles and become King of both Russia and Poland. That should get interesting.
