ok one i suck at jousting the guy in the bar says to couch it and just run at em but that dose nothing unless you reless the attack witch is realy slow

two how do you change weapons during battels

three i killed a guy on a horse then got on his horse won the battel and then i didn't get to kep the horse

About that Couching all you have to do is ride against the enemy and he does it by himself.. So no need to tuch the attack button since then he uses another attack.

Charge the bastards and wham there he goes.. something like that. That was fun

One thing that boters me a bit is why you have to pay the guys in your party when moving stuff between them. i mean if i give him a shield and then want to take it back why should i have to pay him for that? i mean were friends right?

Ohh and is there a better way to heal up your party? or is it just to let the time do the trick..

Think most of this has been answered several times already, so doing a search might be helpful. But anyway...

For couched lancing, as As-Id said, don't press the attack button. As soon as you're riding fast enough the lance will move to a horizontal position on its own. That's when you can do some couched lance damage. Don't run straight into your opponent though but a little to the side, so the tip of the lance hits.

] should be the default key for changing weapons. But you can change that if you want. And it might be best to just go into the options and check what the keys are before you start playing.

one more thing atm im in a battle my horse has been killed theres 1 bad guy left and one of my men the bad guy is horse archer and i cant catch him its realy anoying

When that happens (horse archer vs an unmounted you) ... you have to try and use the terrain to your advantage. Try and trap him between you and the edge of the map or some other terrain that he cannot get past.

Also note that when couching a lance, you lower your lance when the horse reaches a certain speed.

So a faster horse means that you lower the lance sooner and you will be able to maintain the couched lance when travelling over hilly terrain. I tend too use spirted or heavy hunters at the accelerate quickly and can maintain speed up hills. This allows me to outpace pursuing troops, wheel and lower the lance for a charging pass before they can close with me.

Purfect against dark knights as you can take them out with one blow with a little practice.

i dont use those heros i change the padded cloths guys amor to chian mail and told him to wait at the inn now he wont come back unless i give him more amor they are both weak any way

lol, is it because of the horse thief connection that he has no money? I just assumed that he hung on to money the same way Marnid does.

But that aside, I should really rethink putting extra horses in Borcha's inventory.

I do agree on moving eq between Marnid and Borcha... they never have money to trade (where their money goes has been a subject of debate). I think it should simply be open so that you can move stuff back and forth at will.

how do you put vagri veterans on horses? I've seen plenty of enemy vagri veterans on horseman, but I can't figure out how to do it?

Ther's no way to give them horses, hired troops get a (somewhat) random selection of equipment and horses. Sometimes they'll have horses, sometimes they won't.

ohh i see, as for marnid, if you give him surgery abilities, does it apply to YOUR troops? So if he's with you and your troops, the surgery applies to your troops? Or do the troops have to be his?

Marnid applies his surgery skill to your troops if your or Borcha's surgery isn't better. (-> He has the best surgery skill). The bonuses do not stack, only the highest counts in party skills.
