Some thoughts for a new characters.

Running out of idea from new chars, mind helping me out a bit?

So far I have tried quite a few different chars, mainy of the following types, looking for somemthing a bit different.

Foot/Mounted Archer

Pure Throwing Foot/Mounted

Sword/Shield Foot, tried it mounted, never could get the range right.

Lancer, Definately not me, a bit dull, and far too easy.

Bastard Sword/Shield/Throwing

Those are the main ones I have played, interested in other that you guys have enjoyed playing. I tend to like to get into the fray, so would rather not have an extremely large party.

Please post any ideas for characters you have.

Naked foot knife solo

Naked with a wooden club and no allies. Not dull or easy at all.

I do that all the time. Once there are only a few footsoldiers left, I often head back to my inventory, take off my gear, and get out a knife.

 

[Roach]

Lightly armoured (leather jacket, boots, gloves), sword of war, war bow and two large bags of bodkins. Lot of fun darting into range and killing guys with one blow and darting back out again before their buddies can return the favour. And with buddies of your own to distract heavies like Dark knights and crossbowmen you can just run around like a loon enjoying yourself

Numidian javelineer (Inspired by RTW) - javelins with a single sword or spear, with cloth armor, mounted.

Monk-ish type - I can only think of cloth armor and a staff.

Btw, just one of mine i liked before:

Leather Armor,
Scimitar, Shield, 2x Throwing Daggers

Get a high level Athletics, and get used to backpedaling, and your all set, lol.

PS: If you would guys, try not to turn this into another who can make the hardest to play character rant. Not that they are not welcome, but don't let it take over if ya know what I mean, hopeful a few more will post, and give me something to do for a week or so.

That's pretty good, the hammer does piercing damage.
