Some ideas on features in the cities of M+B

Just a thought...

when alphabeta does get around to structuring each of the cities (im not sure whether you are or not). Why not add some slums, you know run down poor places, with muk and the like.

there could be an oppertunity to add some gangs and mobs in the cities and you could ally with a particular gang. there could be whole oppurtunity just in the cities alone. illegal weapons smuggling , bribing court officials, assassinating some aswell (why not?), drug dealing aswell as overthrowing an enemy faction (swadian or vaegrin) from the inside, it could make the merchant a more interesting class to go, and could open up space for a rogue character. A rougue could be the class that you actualy would bother equiping with throwing knives and daggers (useless weapons for a female squire).

A rougue could grapple with an enemy, you know knock them down and jump on them to slit their throat, a unique character to the game. maybe not good at all out war, but good in skirmishers, a great individual fighter.

might be a bit far fetched and difficult to do know, but it could be fun.
some of the ideas i mentioned might be a little complex, i like this game alot for its simplicity and don't want to push the limits.

that's a very good idea - I'm currently making various module buildings so it'll certainly be possible to create more run-down cities or areas of cities - I think a fair bit of distinction between the upper and lower class areas could be nice - as well as offering easier direction for the player!
