Some ideas, and Hello! :)

4) more class specific upgrades. like lets say your warriors start off as peasents but later you can branch them off, like into Missle units, and melee units. Rather then maiking them be cross bowman, then fighters, knights, etc.. the branch off system seems like it would be less complicated.

Notice that even though that usit is called crossbowman, it acually has both ranged and melee weapon with them, so when enemies attack at close range, they switch to swords and maces and fight in melee.
I do agree though that more soldier types would be in order, I would especially like to see possibility to give your man horses as you will. I mean, you are the commander, you pay them money, so all the loot left on the battlefield is yours, including horses. So it should be up to me to decide who gets a horse, and who doesn't. And a more powerfull unit then a knight would be in order too, as it is knight die way to fast when facing black knights for example.
An quick idea how to fix it: Make Mount Dhurak (or whatever the name is:)) home of Black Knights. Make the entire thing to be guarded by them, and make them faster then your party (so once they spot you, you can not escape) but limit them to wonder around that region only (like the Black Kahegir (SP?) Riders, they are specific to one region only). If you are able to defeat one or two dark knights patrols and acually reach mount Dhurak, you have the possibility to hire Black knights (and black riders) (for a considerable amount of cash of course). That way, your char is not the only member of your team, that acually counts in harder battles.

Hi Pavlov,

Maybe a bit more factions? right now it seems there are only two, maybe adding a few smaller independent factions like "Mountain bandits" or "River Pirates" and letting them be joinable? they could have missions also and be at war with the other factions.
That would be nice. I'll think about it.

Hmm. That could be interesting and could make the gameplay deeper and more varied. Good idea.
those are just a few idea, don't know if that helps at all or not. If it does tho I can post more as i think of them.
Please do keep them coming.

Welcome to the forums and thanks a lot for your suggestions and motivating words. :D

Notice that even though that usit is called crossbowman, it acually has both ranged and melee weapon with them, so when enemies attack at close range, they switch to swords and maces and fight in melee.

That's the problem actually, the crossbowman are both good in range weapons and melee, while men-at-arms fight with only the sword but are a class up. For me, it's easier to take out MAA's then the Crossbow men, I simply ride on horseback and pepper the MAA's untill they are dead or heavily wounded, and seeing as how thay lack range they can't do much about it.

My proposed solution to this besides the branched classes would be to nerf the Archer and Bowman melee skill, arm them with a knife or dagger for melee, instead of maces and swords like they have now.

Also is there a way to add in full army management? meaning allowing you to completly arm your own army? they could start out as peasents with ordinary weapons but as you fight battles and collect the loot ( another thing btw, I often see enemy soldiers leaving their horses and swords after they fall but I never get them, maybe inventory could be heavily expanded to allow you to pick up ALL the fallen soldiers weapons?) anyways after you collect this loot would it be possible to equipt all your men yourself? since I know for me I like to use the horsearcher strategy and if my men would also all be on horseback it would give the game a slighty more realistic feel. As well as the fact the sometime I see my knights armed with the dumbest things, like a cleaver for instance, what is he fighting? pigs? :?

just a few ideas
