Hi there, I just started playing Bannerlord, and it feels great to once again be roaming Calradia.
That being said, despite having played Warband I am struggling a bit to really take-off in Bannerlord and I would appreciate some tips
I am playing a Vlandian knight character and plan to enter the service of the Southern Empire eventually. (Latinikoi anyone?)
I completed the quest to rebuild my clan and my next step is the Folly of Naratzes quest.
So far I recruited about 40 soldiers and 3 companions. I have been fighting looters and bandits and selling the loot to buy horses and be faster (am I doing this right with the horses? I am buying the cheap ones. Are mules an option?)
Furthermore I am participating in tournaments to make money and improve my gear.
But I feel like I have hit a wall. I cannot recruit more soldiers. Making money is slow. I guess I would need to attack some caravans to make more loot, but I dont want to do that without protection of a faction.
Talking to 10 lords for the quest takes long, I have trouble finding them and then they dont want to talk to me about the quest?
When should I join the faction?
Should I focus on the quest and everything will fall into place?
Any tips are highly appreciated
