Some changes to native I made

One big complaint about Warband is field battles have little consquence and AI can magically rebuild new armies very fast. As a result the game can become very repetive where nothing ever really changes.

So i decided to change a few things and see what happens. The AI lords normally get free 700 denar every week so even if you loot their villages they never run out. Also when they get defeated they just respawn with a new army. Thus I made following tweaks.

1. AI gets no free money. Rent from village,city,castles are their sole source of money.

2. Lords have zero chance of escaping after being defeated, just like the player. This applies to AI vs AI battles also.

I expected this to imbalance the game but suprisingly things stayed more or less same. What happened was that the wars were more decisive. A factions economy was much more important and their villages being raided severely hurt them. If they lost a major field battle they were pretty much knocked out of that war. In end the AI did not go nuts and quickly end the game in few days but overall wars had actual visible and tangible consequences.

Specific issues this modification answered I think

- no more fiefless lords fielding 70 men and continually raiding your village. These guys barely have enough men to safely leave a castle without being jumped by bandits.
- You don't have to continually beat same loser again and again.
- If you raid their villages they actually become much weaker. Wars are lost in this modification because a faction has no money left to finance their armies due to enemy raiding of caravans and villages.

Normally I would post this in modding forum but I am curious about comments from general players rather than technical issues. What do you think ? Do you think wars and battles in Warband should be more decisive or you prefer a MMO like slow progression and apparently static world ?
 
Wouldn't this in a way make the player's faction/ army so op that after 1 victory that lord's army is like totally knocked out and unable to participate for the rest of the war?  Also I feel like unless you play the role of a merchant or tactician of some sort, every battle you have with an enemy lord it just gives your side a huge advantage or you suggesting people to siege less and battle less if they want a longer game?  These are just some questions that came straight up from my head so feel free to correct it or criticize it.
 
Its kind of unfair to make 0% chances for enemy lords to flee,  I tweaked it to 50% because 20% was just ridiculous.
Player always can flee after killing some enemies in player battles or after 1 round of auto-battles while lord just can't.

Also it kinda sux you made lords like "Hey, for years I've been fighting for my liege and im so stupid that i didn't invested single denar!", making raids take 100% prosperity and 100/66% chance for siege causing city prosperity drop work fine for me.

AI parties can disengage a battle when it's at its start. It happen when a stronger ennemy comes nearby. BTW that why the "manhunters" (vs bandits) fail every time, they engage a tiny group and got stuck, then bandits once daylight comes circle from every direction ...manhunters flee right in the ennemies. Haven't you noticed that ?
 
Obviously i meant player auto-battles because in AI vs AI battles all lords have same chance to escape and both can stop fighting.
