Soldiers inside Siege Towers?

Ok so i'm wondering why don't soldiers sit in here:

During sieges?
It seems logical as they would be shielded from bow & x-bow fire from in there?
Discuss.

Probably because you need to jump in there and the bots can't.

Actually my post was stupid. They could just give the towers a small ramp there, or as you say, spawn there.

Would be cool to see, but it wouldn't make a huge difference, the majority of casulaties happen at the top of the ladder anyway.

Well As I said it's logical, and i personally lose between 10-30 men before i even enter the castle. My Battle size is set to like 250. And those Sarranid archers are relentless.

Good idea, generally. I think that you should be able to have smthing like "group X, take care of siege tower", not only order groups to stand by it.

It's a alright idea, but the question is will any of the devs even notice this? I have to rage about that. Alot of good ideas get lost in this forum.
Not the devs fault. Just saying.
