If you can't make it lootable in the way Kronic says then I guess you could use the item editor to add it to your starting inventory and only use it once you beat Lady Lartkin or something. :3

I find it amusing that you instantly assume I'm young enough to be referred to as "son", but nevertheless, I have given you a suggestion on what to do.

One little point is that even though it will BE lootable afterwards, there's still no guarantee of it being in the loot after battle, we all know how odd the looting system can be. You may have to hunt her down multiple times. I believe increasing the abundance will make it more likely to be looted, but you may want to look around to try and find out if setting it too high has odd effects.

At the conclusion of this post, this thread will be locked and not reopened again. This is a friendly sub-forum, I will not tolerate rudeness and disrespect.

In order to make it more likely to loot a weapon, in the case the Ancient Council Blade, you have to open troops.txt with the Troop Editor. From there, find Council Elder Graveth, and add more than one Ancient Council Blade to him. The more he has, the more likely you'll get it. Then, to make sure it's at the top, go to item_kinds1.txt, find the item you wish to loot and set its value to higher, possibly around 60,000 denarii or so.
