So this game have been super addective. but now my char hit around level 25, and I joined a faction and just know going around attacking random armies...

so now what?

My little town takes like 50 days to just build a puny town hall... I don't think I got the patience to wait that long. Do I have to grind rep with the king? Someone tell me before I shut her down!
 
I didn't know there were women kings...  :wink:
Just to be sure are you playing Native?
 
Try to solo siege a castle on normal, It's not as easy as it sounds or try to solo a huge lords army, or try to take over the world(Calraidia, or however you spell it).There are lots of things to do or if your done with all that you would just have to try out all the hundreds of mods out there, that are loads or fun.

Have you defeated every faction?
 
how can I? there seem to a unlimited amount of enemy spawns... and I don't even have my own castle yet
 
You'll get many. Work on upping your renown, so you have more pull in your faction. The game doesn't function like an RTS, so eliminating parties is more closely related to hunting in RPGs. It only occasionally has strategic value. Keep at it man, and change things up to keep it interesting for you.
 
Ok you are in your prime.

Depending on what your renown is, I'm going to take you through this. If your renown is about 700+ then get your best soldiers, and head for an enemy castle. Preferably one on the border, and with fewer men than normal. If no opportunities for an easy castle arises, then leave them, and come back another week, up until then, destroy enemy armies, and keep making your men top notch soldiers. Once you have taken a castle, restock on troops etc. should take a week, then go for another one, and another. Don't stop.
 
I personally think its dependent on how much you've done for the king.
As soon as you do enough quests for the king to be favorable toward you, he will give you a castle.
or you can grind for 200 game days, and earn one without sucking up...
After all, he is the guy who decides yes or no...

Your personal opinion doesn't hold up very well against the game's code, unfortunately.

This was discussed a while ago and I remember the conclusion was drawn that faction leader relation has relatively little impact.

However, to be on the safe side, it's always worth having 15-20 relation at least.
 
Just a quick question

how do you use ur archers effectively? Right now they're just charging like inf

I would like them to chill in the back and shower enemy with death, but using 'backspace' I can't seem to find the command
