just wondering what new features everyone wants to see in the game. ill start first, although my thoughts probabley parralell everyone elses. starting from most wanted:

1: more combat features, like special moves (you know on some weapons that say 'bonus vs sheilds' under the description, more of those things for other cool stuff), better party control, more party customization,
more weapons and distinctness between different weapons. more challenging fights (too easy with a horse charger)

2: more involved alliance system, ranks, benefits/penaltys, capture citys for your side, big town/castle battles.

3: more ways to personalize your character, more attributes, skills, make it more complex and deep then it currently is.

also, just wondering armagan, what big game-changing features do you hope/plan to put in next?

1. I think first and foremost, I would like the ability to attack anything I come across, even good knights and peasants.

2. Secondly, just more content. More different looking cities, minions, units, etc...

Plot. I love the game, but if everything I do is meaningless, I'll lose interest.

Hmmm, other than that, just more detail in the world. Immersion is big for me.

More units, more weapons, and more combat maneuvers.

The ability to give more commands to your followers. Or to assign them a formation. Have the tactics skill give you more combat options and have the leadership skill effect how well your troops follow your commands.

My currents hopes for the game...

Better environments
- Add more town types, and different buildings (they're all the SAME!)
- Better combat areas, maybe different terrain types

Better troop commands
- Choose what troops to take into combat
- Organize squads so that certain units stick together
- A retreat command
- An option to order troops to switch to blunt weapons to capture prisoners

Sight range in combat
- Can only see a certain range
- Some units see further (like archers)
- Have an "Eagle Eye" skill to give a further range
- Both sides need to "find" enemies instead of always knowing where they are

More weapons and armor

More heroes

An ability to attack towns
- Raid them for gold and supplies
- Take prisoners
- Capture a town and change the faction it belongs to (like in Pirates!)

More factions
- Add bandits, pirates, raiders, etc
- Add a "church" faction, which is more neutral to the main two
- Manhunter faction, works for both major sides, and is responsible for capturing bandits and such

Slaves should have different values depending on their rank

Crests
- Ability to design your personal crest
- Have it applied to all your troops, and shown on your shield
- Have it as a flag on the map

Critical hits (works for you and the enemy)

Multi-sided combat
- Have more than just two sides fighting (three or four at once!)

More encounter options
- Can talk for general info
- Can attack
- Can threaten for money (they can attack because of this)
- When facing multiple sides in combat, can choose who to help

Exchanging slaves
- Exchange slaves with other groups
- Sell slaves back to cities of their side

More units!

Ability to own land
- Do enough quests for a side and be given land
- Can build up a fortress on it
- Uprgades give you:
Merchants (each upgrade adds one)
Barracks (can store troops and exchange when there)
Prison (keep slaves)
- When you have merchants, caravans come and go from your fortress
- Your troops left behind can be ordered to patrol your territory
- Bandits and enemy troops can attack the fortress

Ability to choose attack type
- Choose wether to swing or chop instead of it being random

Umm... that's about it for now...

All of the above.

More gore, with black bits and all.

Smoother meshes.

Scabbards.

Weapons and shields visible when not drawn, slung or shiethed.

Bodies not clipping through walls. (minor quibble.)

I'd really like to terrorise farmers.

And sack towns, burn and pillage.

Faster attcking animations.

(My friend brought up that his character always looks asthough his moth is open.... it's just odd is all.)

Pfft, who needs stroryline to keep them interested in a massive freeform envirnoment?

Likewise with factions and order-giving- it works well as it is, it's simple and effective. There's plenty of factions as it is- Caldaria is one crowded warzone.

I'd like to see the current combat system not too radically changed- I'm constantly taken aback by how challenging each battle is and how balanced the weapons are.

I'd like to see some siege element- I'm not talking on the scale of Helm's Deep here because this combat model lends itself more to small skirmishes than to massive sieges. Maybe just a few outposts or towns protected by pallisades that can be captured.

Seconding the call to have ransoms for enemy knights.
