with warriors and higher you can win fights you really shouldnt

ive done this and won a 90 v 250+

they arent just good for sieging but basically everything lol

when the enemy gets in range of their throwing weapons its gg for them. they seem to just shred through enemy lines

I think everything can do this if you know how to use them.  I fight double+ groups with my Khergit all the time.  But I use tactics most times, charge and regroups and make their infantry spread out (And they will since they're attacking/out number me).

Anyway. As a Swadian, I've raped nord armies over twice my size. It just takes a little bit of battleground control and lost of man at arms/knights. Strategy makes the biggest difference.


Nords, however, are king supreme at sieges. Second to none!

Nords aren't powerful... Sea Raiders are!

They've overrun the entire area near Rivacheg, Wercheg, and Khudan sporting around 300 - 500 raiders. I see bands of raiders in groups of 20 and 50 with 300 Vaegir slaves...

The problem got so out of hand that some of the Vaegir Lords defected to the furthest location on the map, the Sarranids!!! Now an exclusion zone exists around the area. I'm the only one selling supplies to Rivacheg so that they don't starve to death. Racks up quite a nice profit too 'w'

I'd be able to defeat them if it weren't for the random axe/arrow hitting me in the face from across the entire map ^- ^

Actually... I'm terrified ;- ;

I always try and get revenge but then they destroy my entire army and drag me around as their slave T- T

Anyone have any strategies to deal with them? And Nords too, since they pretty much fall into the same category.

Sergeant may not be stronger than a veteran/huscarl but when they are standing at the top of the ramp and the veterans/huscarls are making it to the top of the ramp looking like pincushions then yeah sergeants > veterans/huscarls.  Gotta remember that sharpshooters drastically weaken the force coming up the ladders even with their shields since they only need to land 1 shot to do a ton of damage.

Second to Rhodoks vs the player I think. Most players will besiege fortresses with a large percentage of top tier units, usually with more armour on them, thus a sharpshooter's bolt is more likely to more damage than a nord's arrow, and a sergeant can hold a wall as well as any huscarl.

I use sharpshooters as support, but Nords are definitely the best at sieges. They use shorter weapons than the sergeants do, allowing them to swing more often without clipping a wall. Additionally, Veterans and Huscarls have MUCH better stats than the sergeants
