So Let's make a list of what features are missing from this "early access"

I'm glad this list helped, The game is still in early access. So maybe wait a few months or even a year. The developers are working on new features at the moment we speak.
I dunno one day one patch with a plethora of bugs sounds like the devs are on vacation with money they just made . But honestly this is a real issue if alot of basic core features are missing after 8 years of dev time seems fishy to me.

Key remapping is missing.

You can remap keys however you want, but 90% of the time, your choices will get rejected because most of the keys are taken. Nobody at Taleworlds ever anticipated the situation where someone might want to use a key that was already assigned.
That's not exactly an issue though, you can't bind the same key to two different actions, most games are like this.

Thanks I get that. I am guessing they spent most of the 10 years scrapping progress over and over and designing a new engine. So, now that the engine is mostly done, hopefully they can get the systems in faster, but I already waited, well, 5 years or something, I didn't care about this game until I got kind of bored of the based game. Now I have to wait probably 2 more? This is like GRRM bad lol

Is this as in you want to not semi omnipotently know where lords are (because their location gets tracked pretty accurately) which is reasonable for roleplaying, personally I like not having to chase after lord A to ask if he has seen lord B, only for him to tell me 'Oh yes, 50 miles away about 2 days ago'

Yeah, this one is annoying, I don't like the awkward tagging the town, then going back to the map, then scrolling over to wherever it is.

You mean when you click on them in the encyclopedia thing and it tells you their last known location? I would be fine with that instead of asking lords, it's just that it sometimes goes days without updating and you're left chasing a lord around for days, it was like that with asking the lords to it just seems worse now.

Funny thing is, you assume that what was in the devblogs would be in Bannerlord right away.
They never said that, the devblog was talking about the feature that will be in the finished game

The game is not in a finished state and you're suprised it's... not in a finished state ? What the hell is so hard to understand about "early acess" ?

Also coop was never a promised feature, it was more on the "no" side than "yes". If they did the solo without even thinking about networking infrastructure you can forget that will ever be in it. That and the fact that it would need to rethink the game design at a large scale.

So 8 years of dev time and its okay to have alot of missing features and bugs and issues right so basically its the norm for games in development for almost a decade to have pretty much bare bone features and structure. Also Co-op is not 100% off the table they said before they dabbled with the idea and also explained how it could work they already have MP in the game so the networking infrastructure is there so I dunno why you think that its 100% a no down the road I just think you are a hater on the option for coop.

It's hardly "bare bones" be realistic. Main features, such as the campaign map and combat are there. Missing features are pretty minor and I'm sure will be there at early access. 8 years of dev time means they spent a lot of work to present you with what they've produced.

Besides instead of thinking of the developpement with simple mathematics do you even wonder why it took then so long ?
They said in a devblog that they basically had to restart from scratch after 3 years of developpement or so.

It's not because it's been 8 years that the game was in full force production 8 years you know.

I'm also not a hater on the coop option i'm just realistic, the solo and multiplayer mode are completely different in structure because the entire map and IA is on a global scale for the world map wich is NOT implemented in MP, only the battle system core is.

So just from watching streams I noticed the following things.

Kingdom making: Definetly present
Diplomacy:
Definetly present
Heir system:
(Haven't seen this yet, believe it's not in)
Crimes and Punishment: Not present
Heat map: Not present
Weapon Physics: Present but not perfect
Unique maps for ever location: Unfinished
Quest content: Definetly present
Crafting: Definetly present
Siege weapons: Haven't seen this (yet)
Kingdom Managment: Definetly present
Settlement projects: Haven't seen this (yet)
Persuation system: Definetly present
Clan renown: Definetly present
Dynasties: Definetly present
Criminal enterprises: Definetly present
Accompanying Parties: Definetly present
Inquire location from NPC:
Definetly present.

And this is day 1 of Early acces, now quit whinging.

P.s: They mentioned various times that co-op would not be in early acces or the normal release but that it might be something to look into in the future.

Why did you guys buy an game that said it was going to be in EA for a year to fix things and patch the game. Just to complain the first day it comes out? This game is already x10 times the game Warband was, yes it's missing some old key features, but it just came out less than 24 hours ago. You coming to the forums and crying because you didn't look into the game before buying is your fault. Nobody forced you to buy an EA game the day it came out.

Kudos to a person who wouldn't whine how bannerlord isn't warband and how they did expect a fully polished game of the year even if clearly stated "Early Access"

- Crimes and Punishments. What was expected here ? Do you have a link to the devblog ?

Personnaly I witnessed this : I raided a caravan for fun, my crime rate went up to -20, all the regional settlements/peasants/caravans/armies became hostile (red) and a local army lord came after me across half the map.

I saw a video where you have a small criminal quest opportunity to buy stolen products but you are approached by a guy saying it's illegal and you have to sell him for less otherwise you get "Stolen Goods" and an increase to you criminal score.

If you're talking about the gangs in the streets, there are some quests to take a side but yeah I did not get to see my men take control of the back alley (yet) though. PS : ok I see you made a different section for criminal activities.

- Quests : you really think Bannerlord quests are worse than those in warband ? o_O (I only played original warband - no mod no expansion)

- Crafting : I have not be able to craft weapons yet but I can still smelt and I see there are paterns for weapon parts. Is it not possible to craft them even though it seems implemented ?
edit :
Oh also I have crafted several swords, IDK how in depth it was supposed to be (I can't say i read every blog), but the crafting should be pn 'sort of' if nothing else.
So it is in game...

- Siege weapons : Sort of ? Are they in or not ? Seriously.

I just have a slight complaint with that line of reasoning, no, bannerlord isn't warband, but warband has more content, and it shouldn't, additionally it's been 8 freaking years, if it had been 3 or 4 and it was in early access alright fine it probably needs it, but no 8 years, shouldn't even be in EA

The ability to accompany parties on the map

The ability to ask lords the locations of other lords. Or anything honestly. Can you even get quests from them?

The ability to click a location in the quest log and get taken to it on the map

Buying enterprises

Off the top of my head
I mean it never really made sense that a lord knows where every single other lord is at the map. The feature is still in the game they just want it to be more plausible. If you want to know where a lord is open Notes (N) then click "Heroes" and find his name.

I will take you more seriously when you realistically figure out how to spell.

Yikes, thank you for that overview. I wasn't aware so many features are still missing!

I guess they concentrated on the multiplayer PvP crowd and graphics for eight years. Well, I was going to buy it anyway, but not going to touch it for a while, since Kingdom making is not even in the game.

Dude brings proper arguments to the table just for you to mindlessly and without any reasonable cause to wipe it aside excusing it as "bad grammar".

This guy probably speaks more languages than you as well.

He probably does I was poking fun glad you had to be the knight in shining Armour and come save a Damsel in distress lol!!

I still have to put in to context that yes it is EA and alot of people are fine with the current state and also people are not. I am just saying 8 years later and the state that the game is in now is pretty bad Major bugs minor bugs missing features. Earlier today my brother ran into a devastating game changing bug where he ran into a bandit hideout even though I told him not to enter he then got captured paid to get out and the faction he was trading with instantly declared war on him soon as he was free it pretty much screwed him for that play through and started over.

Also TW's has a base code for MP coop people have looked at the code from what I have read and seen that it was in the files so do not tell me it is ultimately impossible to never be a thing.

Currently there are many features that are missing from the previous game and the dev blogs
So I decide to make a list.
:

The list isn't complete There are something that I may get wrong too.

Is this another stupid "taleworlds are liers" sort of post because it seems it is, I mean you're unintelligent enough to put "sort of" for co-op, you know a feature that was declined a thousand times even by Armagan himself.
Also what is the title implying with putting "early access", it is an early access and making this list is useless since they acknowledge everything missing in the game and said they will be in the future
