So is voice chat a thing that's being worked on?

I figured i'd bring this up because while I was playing some games, I randomly heard some deafening static-like sound which I don't think you would EVER hear in the singleplayer. At the time I was playing, my guess was that someone was exploiting some unfinished code relating to voice chat, which brings me here to make this thread about being able to use the microphone in later updates.

It's a very specific bug though relating to audio. And I got my speakers around the start of the month too. Really don't wanna buy a new set of speakers so soon just cuz some player interacts with the game in such a way that players hear deafening static.

I'd imagine this is probably a bug from the sound occlusion they're adding in rather than voice chat. Looks like it's not as close to ready as they stated though
