Think of the Black Isle, they were professional, too. But even on their last moments (the days they released Lionheart) they stood with the community, and the community stood with them. I don't like the filters at all, and going "fuck it, I ain't having none of this ****" and leaving is all fine and well, but could you please at least have the decency not to linger in the fucking doorway, giving teary eyed looks to the people who so horribly hurted you in hopes that they will apologize, hold you and make everything like it used to be?

Couldn't have said it better myself. We have to remember that this is the dev's forum - they can do whatever the damn hell they want. Most of the people in the Off Topic don't even play the game, or linger out of the off topic, except to flame occasional noob. Another perspective we should all try and understand is that TW isn’t so much of a “fringe” indie company anymore since they’ve put out some notably successful products and it seems to me they want to project a more “polished” appearance to a growing customer base.
Since Armagan and company have always made themselves readily available to us, there is really no possible way to know precisely how many PMs they have received from any hypersensitive new customers. So perhaps TW is trying to “put away childish things”.

Anyway, I see no real reason to "quit the community" because of censoring swear words. If being able to curse on a game forum is more important than the game itself, then perhaps leaving is the right choice after all.
