Well just my 2 cents. I find it alot LESS annoying when u can get a character export/import mod now. Sure u still need to grind some stuff in each play, but you dont need to start over the character each new patch. Only the content.

Something like that might be doable, it would simply require an update if any of the skills / abilities were changed. A simpler way of doing this might be to simply console-command ourselves the same number of Attribute / Focus Points as we had applied when the corruption occurs.
