I don't know why this wasn't a thing from the get go but we, or at least me, desperately need a smithing parts comparison. When I try to fiddle around with individual components to find a good combination of parts, I always find myself in the spot where I go back and forth between 2 components to compare all the stat changes. Please give us a comparison with the at least 2 different parts.
You can give us a comparison similar to the smithing order where the currently selected item is used for the base stats and whenever you hover with the cursor over a different part, then display the difference with coloured bars and coloured values (green = better, yellow = equal, red = worse), similar to what you did with the smithing orders.
You could also provide a comparison column next to the "to be forged" column where you can fill up both columns with all 4 weapon components, so we cannot only compare individual parts but entire weapon designs.
