Small NPC suggestion

Would it be feasible to set the guards and NPCs of friendly cities and towns to recognize your rank with a particular army? I think its rather absurd that a Praven guard would tell a Knight of the Swadian army to watch his conduct. I understand if your character was neutral, but not if you are an Officer.

What if he could actually emote and salute a higher ranking PC?

Just a suggestion that would add a litle more depth to the game.

Good point. Not sure how painful it would be to add extra emotions in just for this purpose, but the text should definately be changed according to your rank.. Likewise, it would be nice to get some form of reaction from them..

"Guard 1" : Watch your conduct....
"Player" : *STAB* *HACK* *GORE* *SLICE* (well using ranged weapons obviously)
*Vaegir Guard killed by player*
"Guard 2" : Watch your conduct....

am in full agreement. I was going to suggest this myself at some stage, but i never got round to it.

it's probably quite easy to mod in, it being a dialogue thing and all.

It is highly difficult, if not impossible to kill guards, even with ranged weapons.
