My small party has difficulty cathching up to parties of bandits/looters
Its becoming aggravating as the only troop I can catch outnumbers me and still is only a decimal slower, requiring a marathon across the map until I catch them, is there anything I can do to reduce this?

Have yourself or a companion invest points in path-finding, keep 3-6 horses in your inventory to counteract the weight of your inventory, have less infantry and more cavalry, consider giving troops horses even though they won't fight on them.

Or you can use the cheat tool, where you go Ctrl+Left click and you click in front of them and attack? lol thats what I do if I cant attack someone..

I suggest never keeping more then a group of 50 men keeps the difficulty up and gives you a good reward in renown while allowing you to choose whom to fight whom to flee from.

Invest some points (or some of your companions') into the pathfinding skill.

Chase larger bandit parties.

Replace some of your marksmen/infantry with cavalry.

Take more horses in your inventory if you have a lot of goods. (though not too many)

Chase slower bandit parties (not the fast tatar, that roam near the crimean Khanate, Rebels and Deserters are normally quite slow).

Take a greater variety of food, as morale has a strong effect on movement speed.
