Hey guys!

If I wanted to increase the battle size of Brytenwalda would I simply install the Warband Battle Size Changer to the Brytenwalda folder? I'm not looking to increase it too drastically probably just double or maybe 3 fold and a bit to 500 - I have a very high end pc (6970, i5 2500k, 8gb of ram) so I think it should handle it fine?

Thank you in advance!

I have a 2500k running at 3.3ghz, a HD5870X2 (which is 1 series behind your card) and 16gb of DDR3 ram. I run the game with battle size at 750 and I've had no issues. Anyway the easier way to change it without using Battle Sizer is just to go into your documents folder, \Mount&Blade Warband, open the file named rgl_config.txt and change the setting battle_size to some number. 1.0000 = 125 men, so for 500 men you want to set it to 4.00000.

I think if you change your settings it might be overridden, atleast it was in old M&B, however I doubt it's a problem now, and it's certainly more accurate that Battle Sizer. Hope that helps.

Are you run brytenwalda with 750 men fine? Wow, have you battle screens?

Well I can't speak for Brytenwalda, I'm still building up to having an army at this stage of the game, however I could play WFaS with Polish Landscapes + Enhanced Smoke & Sounds mods at 750 men, although there can be some chugging, mostly due to the smoke effects I think. Mostly you notice it in sieges. It's not particularly visually impressive there because of the tendancy in M&B for mobs to bunch up and stand virtually inside each other. If someone could find a way to force troops to stand further apart from each other, melees would work a lot better I think, and then I really would have some screenies to show you
