Im not sure about it :
It's able to sell prisoners into cities ( not only Salt Mine and Zendar), escpeccialy after faction joining ?
If yess, then please solution where and how :)

it would be nice to sell vegir knights back to the vegir for $$
[could only do it at revydin, where the king is]

Wouldn't the Vaegirs more likely kill you when you bring them their soldiers as prisoners??? Except for Deserters, of course.
Now when you sold the Vaegir Knights to the Swadians for interogation....

It would also be nice to have varying values to the slaves. even if they are sold for labor or to die in an arena for sport, the stronger knights should fetch better coin then say river pirates...

slaves... such a degrading term...
I like to call them socially displaced or economically disadvantaged.

Would be neat if there was a bandit king where you could 'trade' in your travelling companions for some welfare aid. And then see the bandit king create new groups of roving bandits with your contribution!!!

That sounds like Fallout 2.

Heck that game even calculated price by the level of slave you were trying to sell.

Zendar is neutral, so you can visit it no mater wich faction you sign with, so is the salt mine. In Zendar, as you enter the town, go forward (away from the trainer) until you're near some stairs. There will be some guy, a slave trader, talk to him and you will be able to sell your prisoners. In the Salt Mine, as you enter, go to the man to your right and talk to him, he'll buy your prisoners. The price for a prisoner is 100 everywhere, except if you're on a quest to deliver let's say 6 army members from the opposite faction.

With the .7 versions the price for slaves is now 20. This is a larger reward then previous thanks to the economy overhaul.

I have wondered why instead of just selling captives you can't ransome some of them (knights and nobles especially).

Or is that just a feature that I haven't gotten to yet?

There is a capture and enemy nobleman and bring him back to a Count - you share the ransom with said Count.
