Slaughter The Cowards

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I enjoy chasing down fleeing enemies for cheap XP right? Why is it that the AI can locate them but I can't? I just end up watching the direction my guys are running and head that way.

I wouldn't want L Alt to show me fleeing enemies during the battle but it would be nice after the "enemies are fleeing" notification.

On that note it would be nice if your troops didn't chase the cowards mid-battle and instead focus on the battle. I've seen a cowardly recruit almost destroy my infantry because ten of them ran after him leaving his colleagues in trouble.

It would also be nice if the old morale system returned, somehow. Lately my battles end in grotesque massacres, when the level one troops of the enemy start to come out. Also it takes much longer than normal to finish the battle, many times I have to go to the end of the map to kill two or three idiots who stay on the edge of the map, thinking whether or not to abandon the battle.

I agree about the long battles. I had a siege last week that went 38 minutes 36 secs.

I, too, have wondered how every soldier in my army knows where the fleeing enemies are, and when the battle is over, but I don't know. I've given up hope of being as prescient as an ex-farmboy in Calradia.

It seems silly to me, but, if it were the case. Instead of "bloody sight", I'd suggest something like "hearing tuned" in some of the cunning skill lines, you can hear the coward's screams. Basically, when you turn the camera to a direction where there are cowards that you are not seeing directly, you will hear their screams and it will mark a direction on the screen. It could be funny.

In siege there are sometimes a few units stuck INSIDE buildings or at an unreachable place for you and your troops.
You need the cheat commands to knock them down.

Also, my troops seem to have night vision and I don't. If they just knew how to use a polearm they would be great soldiers.

Tried the « brace » option on spears recently, if you are not interrupted, that’s radical, the guy impales himself on your pike. And there are very long spears that could be used in a shield wall, the bearer being behind the infantry with shields, deadly efficient against cavalry charges imo.
Would be cool if the vlandian pikemen were knowing how to use it - and btw, make them useful !

I will say that infantry with a polearm can bring my horse to a stop but I don't worry I see cav running at me like I used to in Warband. I don't think I've been "one shotted" in Bannerlord at all. Cav now just bunch up and try to scratch each other to death with long sticks.

Agreed. They should rather go for couch lance damage than bunch up as they actually currently do, for sure. Would also avoid horses congestions on battle fields lol
