Was going to start a new character and remember hearing there where some skills that stacked and some that just took the highest in party. Is there a list somewhere of which are which ?

Personal skills that affect other party members stack.

Party skills only use the highest value of you and your heroes.

I haven't looked into this, and I'm replying from work, but I seem to remember a third class of skils labeled "Leader" or something along those lines. Is this a false memory? If not do these stack or sort out in some other method?

I have the next few days off from work and somewhere in that time I hope to filter out all of the skill related info I can and get a decent list and explanation up on the wiki. I've seen quite a bit of info here and there through the forums already, its just difficult to piece together right now.

Yes. Training is a personal skill (as counter-intuitive as that seems to me) and stacks.
