Life between myths. Lead your clan into legend or obscurity. Six Ages: Ride Like the Wind is a storybook strategy game, immersing you in a land of old gods and magic.

Hundreds of small encounters build into an epic, multi-generational tale of survival and inter-clan alliances. Six Ages is the spiritual successor to acclaimed King of Dragon Pass, taking place thousands of years earlier in the same shared world of Glorantha. Part role-playing, part resource management, you'll always be making decisions with long-term consequences, for you and your clan.

- Design your own clan, visit the gods, become respected, raid your neighbors' cows
- Over 400 interactive story scenes, with deep simulation systems driving their appearance and outcomes
- Multiple difficulty levels, and the option for Iron Willed players to limit reloading
- Gorgeous hand-painted high-resolution illustrations
- Same world as King of Dragon Pass, but a new clan: the Riders, with their own myths, and 4x more world to explore
- Discover, appease, and make deals with spirits in your territory

Sadly I won't be able to play it on Windows 7, if the issues you mentioned before are true. Although good luck with the game! Maybe I'll try it one day when I'm forced to update.

If you like the game and want to support us, please do write a review on Steam or GoG.
It really helps. There are still relatively few and every negative one hurts us a bunch.

It's a beautiful game that is quite near to what I'd consider my ideal dream game if I could just wish for one with no restrictions. Thanks for the work Merl and team. Do you guys have any ETA on when the other modes will unlock? I'm desperate for more after finishing my first playthrough, but it's too early just yet for me to do it again while still remembering most of the major story beats in their entirety.

Eeh, I wish David didn't put the sequel note in the game like that. It won't be new modes, they're sequels.
And we're working on it, have been for a year-ish.
It's hard to estimate, but we're hoping this one won't take four years like the first.

Oh. Coolio. The way the menu is structured and how the endgame text reads felt like it implied some choices would carry over. Do you know if that's going to be the case?

Yes, that is absolutely the case. Keep your save files.

You can look through our development blog, there have been several posts about the next one:
