Singleplayer Performance is worse than Multiplayer Performance

I have been playing the beta for a while now and i never really had any major performance issues. The Captain Gamemode runs perfectly fine with 100s of units on the Battlefield, but a Singleplayer Battle against 5 Bandits is preatty much unplayable.
There are massive lags for the first 30-60 seconds then it gets better, but its not as smooth as the Captain mode.

What could be causing this issue?

Check that you've got your graphics card selected in the options, it can default to the integrated graphics.

I just restarted the game and it somehow fixed itself

Well it worked for 20-30 min. I could play some Custom Batlles, but as soon as i resumed my Singleplayer Campaign it went back to being laggy.
I was fighting a few practice Matches in the Arena, the first match was unplayable, but the other matches were fine.
The Overworld Map is still very laggy and it keeps stuttering.

Sounds like memory leaks maybe you can fix or slow it down by tweaking the settings but its probably taleworlds who has to find a solution

The fist thing I did was play a custom siege battle at default settings (and default graphical settings), 500 battle-size, 250 troops per side. My framerate was fairly smooth and stable, the only major stuttering occuring on the destruction of siege weapons. However, on playing the campaign it stuttered almost constantly, even in the relatively calm training grounds scene. I imagine there's still a lot of stuff going on in the background during campaign battles/scenes that takes up resources, that otherwise isn't present in MP or custom battles.

How much ram do you have

If it's a memory leak, try disabling the Steam overlay.

People with just 8gb of ram are not going to have fun time overall

SP is honestly x10 better performance for me than MP.

When i do 500v500 i drop around 30fps.

i7-7800x
Evga 1080ti
16gb ram
1tb memory.

On high setting of couse, I will have to try medium setting.

I was able to get some improvement in Win 7 by plugging in a 64 GB thumbdrive and activating Speed Boost which allows Windows to have more memory resources and get out of the way a little better.

I finally have 16 GB Ram and it runs way better now!
