Tripe A means nothing to me. Most triple A titles are rather trash. Also MMO era is dead, no good MMOs out there to play. Base building is vastly different to castle building. Base building gives the choice of location and patterns of your choices, castle building as it was in BL was simply a village upgrade system. Late 2-3 years on this forum has been a ****fest regarding ideas. Horse breeding, Castle simulator, hunting animals. All the suggestions tend to want to transform this game to a realistic 'live a medieval life' simulator which not only sounds **** but would also be boring. These ideas are okay if you do them 1-2-3 times. Then they get mundane and boring. This is an RPG based on combat, not a building game, not an economic game - despite having an economy to be managed to an extent -, not a hunting game. Regarding your comments about challenge in MP, that's debatable. Based on your opinion no single player should be challenging because it does not feature multiplayer. Everyone and his mother nowdays coming to this forum with their absurd suggestions to turn Mount and blade into a realistic ****fest, we might aswell add toilets in the game and have a mini game for it since we're in the process of wanting to make Bannerlord the most boring game possible. Nah, I support devs on this one. Glad they cut out castle building.

could it be a compromise to build your little fortified estate and not a castle?
unable to withstand the blow of an entire army but helping out from thugs
(with internal customization :ohdear: )

No, what I've said is that SP can't be challenging no matter how hard they try, first because there's a threshold whereas if they make an AI give it's best, no human can beat it, so it's always limited to a ceiling of difficulty. Secondly, once you've learned the meta, beating AI becomes quite mechanical, almost automatic. So MP ends up providing the only really challenging experience, sure, I've died a thousand times in Dark Souls, but after learning it became a cookie repetition, on the other hand, when I play CSGO against humans, things become different every single match (mind you, I've dabbled into pro leagues in the past), so yeah, pretty much, only MP can provide an organic form of challenge while SP is limited to a threshold ceiling and the meta of the game, AI won't make creative decisions, it'll hence&repeat per-determined ones.

It basically sums into this:
SP = Learn not to make mistakes (which ends up in repetition)
MP = Adapt every single time

On the matter of castle building, well yeah, if we have A SINGLE PLACE TO BUILD A SINGLE CASTLE, nothing changes, and if you hate it so much, the game won't force you into it, as I've said time and time again, it's a Sandbox... At any rate, you are a pretty fun person at parties aren't you?
Again, boring is having nothing significant to do or progress with at end-game, not building your own base, you doubt me? Let's make a poll just for the heck of it, what you think? hahaha

I am very fun at parties, its probably because I dont seek to live a virtual fake life in a medieval sandbox by giving absurd suggestions to the devs asking to transform the game into Sims. Regardless, I am very glad they removed castle building from every single village. You can't talk about progress or end-game considering they have not finished the end-game and we know literally nothing about it. Polls are meaningless and stupid, which is showcased by many recruit posters the last 2 weeks.

Man, you're pushing it... <snip> And not because you have offended me, by any means, but because you've been a disrespectful brat
You're behaving like a raging teenager for no reason but to reaffirm your insecurities on an argument that seems pretty pointless. Although I have patience, I am not Jesus, so yeah, I'm done talking to you...

Do not threaten other users. --Orion

We've told you several times to lay off the new users. This could not be any more clear.

I know this technically isn't a "cut" feature so to say, but I have't heard of any updates about the story aspect of the game. Perhaps they shelved it to be dusted off and reimplemented years later? Would be much more assuring to hear it from an official mouth that explains why they have not updated us on the news about the story and lore.

Sadly these features are probably gone forever. Perhaps mods could bring back something similar to them. It's unfortunate but it is what it is.
