To encourage teamwork in the multiplayer of Mount and blade: With fire and sword, an xp system which rewards points to dealing damage and winning a round could help out a lot in developing epic online battles...

In the end we can deliver the petition to the guys at TaleWorlds.

And if TaleWorlds cannot give us a multiplayer patch like this, the petition might encourage modders to make something to make something.

I don't even know where to start....

You want to add xp to multilayer? Which would allow you to do more damage in multilayer? So a server would need to be set up to store this information? This will help create epic online battles?

Does it come with a hat that has a stick poking out of it with a carrot hanging off of it? Maybe people who buy the game a month down the line instead of the "carrot on a stick hat" get a slap in the face instead?

haha I know there is a lot of cynical std here but this for people that understand what it is about.

A multiplayer point xp system only has the goal to stimulate teamwork.

So you get points for doing damage as well as 1 on 1 kills.
There is no teamwork because everyone thinks about his kill death ratio.
A point xp system could change that.

I agree it would be hard to mod so that is why the petition is directed at TaleWorlds.

All it does is add something to grind and shift the emphasis from the K:grin: ratio too some other numerical and slightly more convoluted peen measurement.


This all ignoring the amount of work that would need to be done to get it to work, keeping in mind that the latest release is far from polished or even complete. Best bet would be asking M&B 2 to have some form of multiplayer stat tracking in it.
 
Your petition needs to be a python compiler.  You learn to code, I'm behind you.
 
Again another dreamer that won't get into the real world, ill go easy on you. The develepers again wont even consider this cause number 1 "your a recruit" number 2 "im almost positive it is an un needed idea" and number 3 "i just plain don't like this idea."

No, it would make it battlefield with swords. COD is every man for himself

There seems to be some sort of need for this game to stay "cult" or so...

You don't have to copy CoD...

You can give the multiplayer a very "rpg-ish" levelling structure.

I don't have some sort of pipe dream about points flying through the screen with a Tell sell dude screaming: "LEVEL UP! YOU ARE AWESOME!"

It's very simple, a point system that rewards points for a round win with your team and points for each damage done MOTIVATES teamplay which is clearly lacking.

Everyone doing their own thing and trying to steal kills isn't really realistic also isn't it?

A point system like above would also add to the REALISM and the dramatic feel.

For me the fact that you also get rewarded for doing 90% damage instead of stealing someone's kill is reason enough for a system like this...

Everything that increases teamplay is something good.
And of course you can model an xp system to make players even more selfish, but the point is to model an xp system to make players think about their team.

I want to add the campaign map and do a mode which you can act like your in the campaign, but multi and you can get married
