Its still not fixed in v1.2.10. I have encountered the issue multiple times in my new campaign. Moreover i think i have seen it happen on field battles as well.
I couldn’t agree more. It makes a huge difference to the game play and now all I ever fight during wars is low teir troops because all the high teir troops are surrendered.
It crazy to me that this is one of the most important game mechanics and has not been fixed for 7 months now with nothing more than “the investigation is still on goin” @MArdA TaleWorlds@Dejan@Piconi
I think they need to stagger the nobles joining instead of having them all begin the battle on the field. They fall and the army retreats if too many of them fall without getting hardly any kills. The remainder then have no active leader and surrender whereas before they would just heal up and send another wave. However they would sometimes mostly get wounded (especially if the players surgeon had the perk that applied their skill to the enemy) heal up and you can be defending wave after wave... I believe my highest was 6 before the change! Waiting on the stupid a.i to stop chasing parties they could never catch as an army and actually defend the town.
