Sieges - Cavalry and Companions with Horses do not show up?

Hi all

I've a question regarding my first siege (participating in a larger campaign by some Lord from Swadia). I joined the Siege Attack to support it with my 22 troops, and it seems my five Cavalry and my five companions with horses are not present.

Do I assume right that for a Siege the game takes everyone on a horses and does not spawn him into the battle? So should I put my companions (many of which have bows or javelins) off their horses before joining a siege?

Also: No monetary reward when the castle is taken with the help of my guys?

In a siege, Cavalry and companions will appear to fight just without their horses. So you shouldn't have to make them all dismount before the battle or anything. Are you sure they didn't appear? Not just their without their horses? And if your attacking with another lord depending on your battlesizer not all your troops will appear in the first wave as it will be a mix or your's and the Lord's.

You might get some loot from aiding. Also if your following Marshall it takes less time for them to capture the castle.

The only companions I could visible spot were my horeless crossbow and archer dudes, so I assumed the Cav and Horse Companions did not show.

Bit hard to finance sieging with no monetary benefit... but such is war I guess.
