Sieges and lords

I noticed that the AI can use thier lords and even thier patrols to support an attack on a settlement.  Is it possible for my lords or patrols to help me attack?

not sure about currently, but ill be working on that sort of thing for 0.7

In my experience you can, if you tell your lords and patrols to follow you they will assist you in open field combat, not so sure about a siege though. Sieging is incomplete from what I know atm, so player ganking might not be in.
