Sieges: AI not ready for it

I have been in some sieges and the AI pathfinding is still dumn. They are gettin stuck everywhere, the archers are not at walls firing and you cannot send archers to hold multiple positions at walls.

Devs needs to improve the pathfinding and make a special command for sieges in order to deffend specific important points like: hold gate, hold walls with ladders and that kind of stuff.
 
Same issue. I have joined several sieges, and the troops got stuck in the ladders, or stuck in the walls, (both offense and deffense). Let's hope this evolves in the proper way.
 
Yeah, the AI is struggling, its slightly better than the Custom battle mod with multi player maps sadly.
 
I feel like in field battles it's decent, but in sieges is terrible, something must be done about it absolutely
 
They are kind of dumb on attack but everytime I join a siege defense they just stand there doing nothing. The AI does not get them in position and the attackers do not use ladders nor ram so i have to lower the troops damage in order to open the gates and try to win.
 
This is odd, since in custom battle the AI seems to work pretty well. Guess something about campaign bugs it up.
 
Odd. The attackers for me work pretty decently. It’s the defenders that are annoying. They will just stand there being hit from the side and not engaging because there’s no enemy in front of them to hit.
 
I cannot agree more here. I was expecting more from what we have seen in the devblogs, but I'm hopping that they will improve it.
 
Siege defender AI is retarded.

If there is a siege tower, the defenders will climb down the ladders on the siege tower, rather than staying on the walls. As an attacker, you can just hang out on the siege tower ladder and hit the defenders in their butts as they climb down towards you.
