And ballista gives you a bow skill. But they are useless. Without any zoom and accuracy it is a pain to shoot.

I really had no idea you could control the siege weapons. In my playthroughs usually a doomstack is descending on my location and I can barely get the ram up, get it taken, and make peace right afterwards. No time for any fun really. I'm about 30 hours in and uploading as I type this, the problems with late game siege and army spam are taking the fun out of the game for me by now. Every town has 1000+ defenders, vassals won't stay, and a laundry list of problems. I'm sure I'll detail it soon.
