Ai pathing and siege ladder/tower use has been one of the biggest complaints about sieges since day one. This is one of my biggest bugbears with the game atm.
AFter 9 months it becomes strangely more optimistic to think that maybe nobody has been working on it at all.
I think making the AI do more gooder is harder then they expected.

I think at this point I would just copy paste the siege 'ramp' style tower from warband into it.
And because making a game doesn't work like that I would go "well what do pay you devs for, fix it! Make the smart thing I did work!"

Considering we already have a siege tower with a ramp in it I'm sure they've thought about that and I suppose if nothing else works then can do that. But that doesn't fix siege ladders so if those are going to be in the game they have to address this issue. I just don't understand how the ai in Warband had no issues with this but in Bannerlord they can't seem to figure out what is going on.
