Resolved Siege and field battle formation bugs

In sieges sometimes all units are mixed together into two formations so I've got archers and infantry in formation 1 and 2 both climbing ladders and siege towers and ultimately my archers get wrecked. Had this bug since 1.3

The other bug is formations such as shield wall working however they spread out as much as possible. Same first for archers spreading out way more with the F3 F3 command. Even when you try to left click and drag it doesn't tighten the formation at all. however this bug doesn't persist if I attack villagers. Looters and armies though it still happens. This bug has popped up since 1.4.1 beta I haven't tried the 1.4 stable.

I've figured out the second bug. It only happens when I'm in an army. I was leading an army i'm not sure what it's like following one. It's almost like the scatter formation or F3 formation

more info for you. i can more specifically replicate the bug. forming an army in which 1 party leader or more is mounted on a horse which ever formation they end up apart of either infantry or archers, causes the spacing between troops to be treated as if theyre all mounted. ive tried replicating this by just adding mounted troops to non mounted formations but they dont seem to stick thus why i could only replicate with party leaders

I can confirm this bug in stable 1.4 when I lead a army. In 1.41 I don't know because I don't have a army yet.
 
Version 1.4

My archers don´t search for cover and don´t shoot enemies on the wall anymore. Instead, they are just standing around in open field or, when i manually put them in a line near the covers before the battle starts, they turn around and run to a siege tower and take over infantries job (moving the tower).
 
Bump, could we get an update on this? Hurts siege a lot.

All the units are smushed together then split out into random groups. I have my archers mixed in with my shield infantry, so I have to send my archers in with the lead group.

I can confirm that second part of the bug. I noticed my infantry line would space out with massive gaps. Then realised it was only happening whilst in an army. Later I realised that it was only when the infantry line had a noble commanding the formation that was mounted.

To further test this idea, when ever I had a mounted noble commanding the infantry line, I would first give the infantry a dismount order, at which point the formation reverts back to normal spacings as the commander would dismount and run over to join his line (I've noticed that the commander whilst mounted is spawning in with the cavalry, and this might be a part of the bug).

So this bug definitely has something to do with a mounted noble causing the formation to read as cavalry, and adjusting spacing to match.

Just in case it helps, this issue is still happening in build e1.4.1.231640

Bump, please communicate on this TaleWorlds. Siege are so broken at the moment. As context for all reading, it wasn't broken in 1.3.1 (just kinda funny, but archers were given their own groups).

Almost 1 month since last response on this :sad:
