In Progress Siege AI still not using equipment properly

My entire force is using the ladders while none of them use the siege tower

I wish you could have a group of guys to control during a siege, even if it was just 10, or maybe just your companions would be really nice. I've only ever helped other lords with sieges so maybe you can do that when you are in charge?
