Shutting off in battles

I apologize if someone else already posted this problem, but, from what I can see, no body's problem is quite the same as mine. It also happens to my friend, so we're fairly sure it's not the hardware. Whenever we get into battles, it's just started to turn off randomly. It never gives a message such as the assertion error or anything, it just shuts off and exits the program. Sometimes it restarts my friends computer, but it hasn't done that to me yet. Sometimes it'll give a chime, but that's about it. Like i said, it only happens in battles. The times are always random as well. Sometimes we can play for hours before this problem happens, and then sometimes it happens the first battle we get in.

I've had a few CTDs in battle too. The best you can for now is try to help armagan track them down by getting one right after saving that's repeatable and sending in the save file.

You wouldn't happen to be hitting the mount command would you (default key is 4)? Because, right now, that would do it.

yep, my entire laptop gets shut down in the midst of a battle, sometimes not even within a battle. I think its a memory leak or soemthing, cos i dont think the laptop should be running THAT hot.

I had the game make my desktop reboot spontaneously once.

Just then, I fought an entire Swadian war party, getting down to 11 health by the end, and successfully knocking unconscious the Swadian knights I needed to capture to fulfil my current quest...

... and the game shut down the moment I finished taking my pick of the loot. No error messages.

Frustrating. A war party is not a quick battle!
