anyway:
e = select edge mode
v = select vertice mode
f = select face mode
b = select object mode
Left Mouse button [LMB] elects elements and turns them red. clicking a select element another time deselects it.
Middle Mouse button [MMB] activates camera mode. zoom by pressing and holding right mouse or middle mouse button while moving mouse. Ctrl Right mouse button also activates camera mode (for those with 2 button mice).
Right Mouse button [RMB] brings up a context sensitive menu with options for editing your selected (red) elements. If you are in 'advanced menu's' then RMB on context menu item with an asterix ( * ) next tp it will give you an advanced mesh editing option. details can be read on bottom of Wings3D screen.
l = select edge loop (naturally enough this only works on edges)
shift + l = select regoin
i = select similar elements
ctrl shift i = invert selection
ctrl a = select all
space = deselect all select elements
+ = grow selection
- = shrink selection
f3 = select next edgeloop
f4 = select previous edgeloop
f5 = select all faces with 5 or more vertices (very useful)
insert key while pointing mouse at command = assign hotkey to selected command
delete key while pointing mouse at command = remove hotkey from selected command
View shortcuts
w = toggle between shaded view and wireframe view of model
tab = quick smooth shade preview
u = auto rotate view
a = focus view on selected elements
x = align view to + x axis
shift x = align view to - x axis
y = align view to + y axis
shift y = align view to - y axis
z = align view to z axis
shift z = align view to -z axis
o = toggle betwen perspective and orthoganal views
up, down, left and right arrows = shift view up, down, left and right.
r = reset view to default view
Editing shortcuts
c = connect selected vertexes or edges
d = repeat last operation
crtl z = toggle undo/redo
shift ctrl z = redo previuos operations (multiple redo's possible)
alt ctrl z = undo previuos operations (multiple undo's possible)
numeric keys on top of keyboard 2 -> 0 = cut selected edge into 2 to 10 edges.
File commands
ctrl n = new file
ctrl o = open file
ctrl l = merge file
ctrl s = save file
shift crtl s = save file as
ctrl q = quit
