What's wrong with your post Ninja? I'm seeing some strange quote sign (atleast on my computer), don't know if others see it too...  :???:

He left the closing bracket off the initial quote statement.
what does Shield skill actually do? I know it should atleast decrease the damage the shield takes from hits, but does it also increase speed or coverage
All three IIRC, though primarily resilience. Speed and Coverage are affected by size and weight of the shield too.

Um... What does IIRC mean?

If I recall correctly . . . .IIRC.

I actually put as many points as I can into Shield.  Being a foot soldier who doesn't use a bow, I have plenty of skill points to spare.  Plus, I use a wooden shield like any other Rhodok, so I need all the coverage I can get.

I know it's "out-of-era" but it would have been nice if there were tower shields around. They're like mini walls to hide behind.
I know Gabeed would love some Spartan shields (since he's a Rhodok).

@ Lord Sami: I'd suggest you'd bookmark this for future reference.

Sorry for the boo boo Gabeed.

Heh, no problem.  Actually, I use a glaive, crossbow, and bolts, so my shield is more for protecting my back or charging at archers than actually using it with conjunction with a spear or other one handed weapon.

If only you could use two-handed polearms with one hand with penalty . . .I mean, you if you can couch a glaive on horseback, you should be able to use a shield with one.
