Shield resistance counts or no?

I like using the heater shield, since it has a decent amount of both.

Likewise. I always use the one that mathces the shield icon.

I use the stripy one.

Yes, my mistake. I meant Norman (the elongated ones). I don't get why but, but I still get hit.

My statement might of meant "Really? It's a decent shield?" and not "It cant be decent - it only offers a coverage of 60%".

i have spend like 3 points on the shield skill at lvl 34. I Think it realy helps with durability and if you want to go for long battles with a shield and dont want to search the battlefield i think you'll appreciate the shield skill.

Im lvl 34 and im using a stell shield and i would not trade that for anything.
Coverage + speed are not meaningful
I have six points in shield and i can cover my ass from all arrows.
And yes i need a shield not only for the arros but against the weapons too.
and just to say I have power strike 10 and i use the best damanging weapon that can be used with one hand, the morning star -.-''

I still can't hit away the arrows with my sword as all medival heroes were able to. (I saw it in the movies!) And I didn't discover the "Wall of swords Spell" just yet 

btw: Saw a steel shield with 16 resistance in native

Could someone help me with one thing: what does Shield skill actually do? I know it should atleast decrease the damage the shield takes from hits, but does it also increase speed or coverage (the latter beeing pretty unrealistic...)? Please help me out with this. I've never bothered to improve it, but should I have? I'm level 45, so it doesn't really matter, 'cause even if I wanted to improve it now, It would take 25 years to advance to the next level...

I can see it too.

I just wish they'd make a shield that would cover you from head to toe.

But I guess it would be pretty slow.

If u have a high shield count and still are getting arrows i would say that to u.
