I noticed when i was fighting on food enmy troops with shield can knock me down then strike. can i do that? if i can how? any short key? or is there anyother good stuff ? for example if i have hammer does it do samething?

another question i heard maces are good for heavy armor is there anyother tips?

So, I got you right that some AI combatants knocked you down with their shields, right? Therefore I guess you mean the shield bash. Here is how it works: You first have to click right mouse button and hold it down, than click the left mouse button while still holding the right button. Hold both of the buttons down for an instant then release the right button. You may have to practice it a few times until it gets fluent and not confusing anymore.

Maces as well as two-handed axes and/or long-axes, hafted blades, the baltic big badass clubs or a glaive are all very good for cracking thick armours. One-handed axes are also not bad albeit not as good as maces. I would prefer an unmodified standard military sickle over any unmodified standard 1h-axe - the moorish axe might be an exception to this. However, my favourite against well-armoured opponents is the studded club (2-h weapon, 38b damage, 92 speed, 92 reach), it's almost always a 1-hitter against everybody (knights sometimes may need 2 hits though). It can crush through blocks with an overhead strike and it's great for taking prisoners. Also, maces and other weapons that do blunt damage (hammers, clubs, maces, etc.) have the capability to knock people down.

As far as fighting on foot is concerned - if my enemy is consta-blocking with his shield or his weapons he gets clubbed once on his bulb with an overhead strike which normally crushes through and immediately afterwards I try to hit his legs with a second strike. Since the armour values of helmets are sharply increased in this mod it's almost always better to go for the legs as they are normally weaker armoured than the rest of the body. You have to consider your proficiency and character level, though. My current char has a prof. of 462 in 2-h weapons with a power strike of 10 so he has no problems to strike through blocks or generally hitting hard and fast with almost every weapon. That means, when my char was younger and had some 200 prof. and a power strike of 6/7 he relied a little more on quickness and/or reach of weapons and was equipped with a heavy kite shield, a military sickle, a glaive and some balanced 1-h sword. The glaive is also a fantastic weapon for fighting horsemen or fighting in a siege defense.

Hey orobos thanks again  i will go for studded club and for fluff and killing poor archers i will keep my sword. my combination will be sword + shield + lance, studded club.

i noticed horse are week in this game they die fast and i have to fight on my feet rest of the fight. anyway to fix this? when my horse dies most of the time they gone for good, buying  horses are expensive.

Also buying armors are expensive what is the best way to having armors? shall pay it and buy one from city or how can i farm it. i dont have problem for helms since they often drop. any guide for game? its huge and a lot too discover

Well, that's the exact outfit I am using myself for fighting from horseback, balanced XIIIa, balanced heraldic lance, studded club and reinforced knightly kite shield, warhorse (no 'heavy' because it will get lamed some time in a future battle and then I would've paid all the money for nothing at all) while I mostly use the studded club when I get dehorsed and have to fight on foot.

Concerning armours, that's one reason why I go freelancing - because you get a complete outfit for free and if you're promoted to a knight you get a knightly plated mail and a very good helmet or even a great helmet. The only thing you have to do then is waiting for your lord's army to get crushed and after being a prisoner for some days you are free to go wherever you want with your very expensive new weaponry, horse and armour. That's why I often choose a lord who has less than 100 men in his army . I always do freelancing first and then afterwards assemble my squad of companions and build up my army. If you missed out on this occasion you will have to buy one, unfortunately, or rely on your or your companion's lucky looting skills. I've had some lordly, thick or reinforced armours a few times in my loot and sometimes even a masterwork sword,  which by the way was dropped by some common bandits. But I have to ad that my companion has a looting skill of 10.

You can tweak the horses hit points/armour values by either using Morgh's Editing Tool or doing it yourself directly in your item_kinds.txt. That's the only way I can think of. Maybe it's just my imagination, but I think that if I have 3 more horses in my inventory that are of the same type as the one I normally use to ride into battle with, the horsey doesn't die or get crippled as fast as if I were only using one of that kind... don't know, it's surely just my imagination... but it's always practical to have at least 3 warhorses in case one or two of them get crippled during battle.

You can turn off "Spear Bracing" in mod options and horses will be harder to kill by enemy spearmen.

Aha, nice tip thanks.

i was wondering being honorable does any good. other lords likes me ?

Yes, lords who are honourable themselves will like you more, i.e. you get a relation boost. Don't know exactly how this works, though, but I now have some 180-200 honour and I occasionally do meet some lord who I've never met before and I have something around +45 relation bonus with that guy.
