Sharpshooter Bug???

For some reason, my Vlandian Sharpshooters have no melee weapons. they have shields, but no means for damage other than their crossbows and their fists. anyone else have the same issue?

The issue has indeed been brought up in another post where someone looked in the code and saw that the Vlandian Sharpshooter is intended to have a vlandian sword, but due to a small mistake (the sword should be called 'item3' instead of 'item2' in the code) they don't. Hopefully these small things will be fixed soon.

happens, and im understanding of that. ill just have to use up to the unit before them instead

It such a simple thing too. Two minutes tops. Change one element in an XML file.

Problem is that it would break savegames from what I have read

FYI: It does not break saves as far as anyone knows. It's just a simple data file change.

I think this problem is fixed with 1.1.0.
At least I couldn't find the problem in the file anymore.
