wondering is this mod still being developed as i love the WOT and think it could be a great mod and is pretty good already

I never let you know how many hours I played this mod, because I love the books and I hope to see more of this or other mods in Warband.To me you did a great job of staying with the books, better than most movies would have any way. :wink: Wish I told you before but I think you did an excellent job with this so be proud. Thanks for the time and talent you used for us!!! :cool:
 
Major fan of WoT series reading the latest book and pacing myself for the next release in this coming Nov :smile:

how do i get this thing downloaded to m&b.

i make the folder and unzip it to module with a new folder named as WoT. and i keep getting an error stating

Can not open file 'C:\Users\Meck Warrior\downloads\shadow_rising.zip' as archive??

what am i doing wrong that needs corrected??
 
i found out what the problem was.  i need to unzip or 7zip it to 'here' location instead of trying to unzip it to the module folder.  so i unzipped it then i copied and pasted it and it works ;p

ok, hi fellow WoT addicts!

to cut the chase short, how the blo*dy f*** do u open a console in in M&B (SR). I mean, in warband i hit ctrl+tilde... and it works!
here in m&b, NOTHING does! Any suggestions?! Btw, i do use a few cheats like for money and some xp, otherwise its no fun being slaughtered on a regular basis...
Now i need this stupid console, cuz i was killing all my shadow prisoners (so they dont go around creating new armies...) and that messed up my relations with.. everybody (that should have been changed.. how can everyone hate u by killing fain for example?!).

Sry for my hot headed tone up there, but this is carving my nerves....

Ok i found quite a few things that could be useful to all you wot crazies(or native m&b or whatever...) also. Dunno if ill start my own tweak thread or no, but for now here's a teaser.
U know how its annoying when u kill sammael and everybody hates u for it? Its not logical :grin:

If u got hated by every faction, and got no honor, this is for u.
So heres the first trick:

- red nr. = added to released lords relationship
- blue nr. = added to your honor
- green nr. = added to faction relationship

Of course, since thats obviously a conversation, ur supposed to edit that particular text file...  :grin:

I have a few other minor tricks, but the big one, to modify relation loss with major characters (and factions) upon killing a hostage is a work in progress... Its the longest bunch of numbers ull find in there  :???: Currently i found out how to modify LOSS, but the goal is to make it a GAIN (if i manage to make it work, so u get "good grades" for killing forsaken, thats even better..), which pisses me off, as the koeficient for calculating loss apparently can not be negative!  :mad:

Hey man about a year or so ago I massively trolled/flamed you for this. I just wanted to sincerely apologize for what I said. Personally I have not played the mod as I only have Warband installed, but it looks good. Keep up the good work man.

So I'm a huge Wot fan and i just found this while searching around, but when i downloaded it, there was no actual program... just what looked like one of the patches with music, convo's, etc... I've seen a couple other posts like this and supposedly the download was fixed, but maybe it wasnt actually? I really want to try out this game, it sounds awesome.
 
Still can't figure out how to get the game working... anyone have a response/answer to this problem? If you can help, please let me know, I really want to try out this game and see what its all about.
 
Ok, I got it. but when i try to start up M&B it gives me an error message that says: "Unable to open file: CommonRes/costumes_a.brf"

Any thoughts?

Edit: Uh, i just realized that that file is not actually in my M&B folder... is it possible the download just missed it or something? maybe someone could just email me the file...?

But in general this mod is just a beta and should be continued :cry:
This is too awesome to be left at this point, weaving system is absolutely awesome except I seem to keep burning out all the time and killing myself with baelfire :lol:

And did you join any faction before they invaded? As if you didn't your still "neutral".
 
well, i didnt specifically join any factions, but i was friendly with a couple (dragonsworn, armies/west, aisedai) and unfriendly with the Seanchan...
